Discussion forum focused on the new methods employed and the principles followed by Prague Municipality to conserve historical structures endangered by reconstruction of and amendments to the city's historical core zone. Held to mark the 30th anniversary of declaration of the Prague Conservation Area.

The workshop participants will be given information on the website range of services. The website offers the most comprehensive database of companies and products encountered in civil engineering. The workshop is designed to serve the needs of general public, as the services will be demonstrated in a way easily understandable even to people who still do not use Internet on a daily basis, but the information imparted may also be useful to people, whose companies operate their own Internet systems.

The competition will be organized to support quality end-to-end construction projects covering full range of structural activities starting with the shell construction and finishing with the crafted details.

The competition results of Stavba roku 2001 will be made public, and the jubilee event of the 10th "Stavba roku 2002" competition will be announced, at the Gala Night of FOR ARCH 2001.

Competition is organized by: ABF, a.s., Economia, a.s. - the Stavitel (Developer/builder) magazine, the Czech Ministry of Industry & Commerce, the Czech Association of Developers.

The competition results will be announced on Thursday, September 13, 2001. The awards will be handed over at the FOR ARCH Gala Night held on Friday 14 September, 2001.

Competition for the most useful and best-selling technical publication on urbanism, architecture, civil engineering, home living & interior arrangement

The competition results will be announced on Thursday, September 13, 2001.

The opening ceremony of the competition will be held on the day of the Fair commencement. The hands-on stage hosted by Hall 6 will start on Tuesday, September 11, and finish on Thursday 13, 2001. The competition results will be announced on Thursday, September 13, 2001.

The 8th annual competition focused on creative application of the BohemiaGres and Keramika HOB tiling systems. The ceremony of result announcement will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2001, on the exhibition site of Chlumčanské keramické závody (Chlumčany Earthenware Plant) and Keramika Horní Bříza located in Hall 2, sector A, site 11. The competition is co-organized by the BertelsmannSpringer publisher.

Presentation of software products developed by Deutsches Baurechenzentrum GmbH company and introduced here before the software Czech language version is launched. The software products are designed to be used by managers and Purchase & Procurement Departments of construction companies; the software enables to manage the procurement processes, to prepare tenders, to compile purchase orders, to evaluate the suppliers, to check delivery lists and delivery terms, to audit accounts and to keep track of all operations.
